Motivated Fire of the Heart

My motivation to pursue a woman is solely based on connection and affection. These 2 things will cause a relationship to come to fruition. The lack of either of these things will push me away from genuine desire.

Fire represents the motivation to pursue or invest my time and attention in a woman. When I first met you, a fire ignited in my heart. The fire continued to burn based on the mystery of who you were. I wanted to try to get to know everything about you. As we spent more and more time with each other by going out on dates, having long deep conversations, and connecting in a genuine way the fire burned brighter and brighter. The fire was unwavering because after realizing how much of an amazing person you were, I wanted to honestly see if the connection we initially had, could evolve into something more. I was truly motivated to be with you and wanted to show you how much I appreciated you adding value to my life. Over time I began to grow closer to you mentally, emotionally, and physically and that’s when it shined the brightest. Your honest, positive, funny, authentic nature is something that just pulled me in. I wanted to eventually fully express what you meant to me physically. Whenever I attempted to communicate with you physically or show affection, it was always denied. The constant denial of affection caused the wind to blow. As this wind blew the fire burning in my heart started to waver. The candle began to get dimmer and dimmer over time. 7 months of denial caused the flame to reach its lowest levels. The last conversation we had where you told me that there was no chemistry, and you would not be able to show me affection is when the rain started pouring, completely dousing out the flame.

I understand that in life we may not always get what we want. But the only way the flame in my heart can be reignited is with the lighter of chemistry and affection held by you.
